Does Sugaring hurt? There can be some discomfort the very first treatment in getting sugared but not nearly as much as waxing. Sugaring focuses on removing the hair follicle in the natural direction of hair growth. Sugaring only focuses on removing dead skin cells whereas waxing adheres to live skin cells. It is very important your esthetician masters the art of Sugaring for successful results. I am here to help you! You are in good hands.

Is Sugaring safe? I have sensitive skin. It is safe for every skin type and condition. Sugaring contains pure and natural ingredients which include Lemon, Water, and Lemon Juice, so unless you are allergic to any of those ingredients, you will be fine. Sugaring is beneficial even if you have Eczema air Psoriasis.

Is it better than waxing? Sugaring is a gentler, less painful hair removal method that uses natural ingredients like sugar, lemon, and water. It adheres only to hair and dead skin cells, minimizing irritation and reducing the risk of ingrown hairs. Waxing on the other hand waxing, is often more painful because it removes hair against the direction of growth, which can cause more skin tugging, breaking and leaving the hair follicle behind, resulting in more ingrown. Waxing can also adhere to live skin, potentially causing broken skin and irritation. Sugaring doubles as a gentle exfoliant because it only adheres to the hair and dead skin cells. It's also easier to clean up with water, making it ideal for sensitive skin and eco-conscious users.

Can I sugar while I’m pregnant? Yes! Many pregnant woman sugar during pregnancy. The sugar past is made of water, lemon juice and sugar, making it safe for all.

What should I do after my treatment? Exfoliate! It is so crucial to exfoliate to remove any dead skin cells so we are not having to tweeze and extract as much in the treatment room. Exfoliate with a wet loofah or scrub.

What should I do before I come in to see you for Sugaring? Exfoliation is extremely important, BUT refrain from exfoliation the day of your appointment. Avoid lotions and oils the day of your appointment. Caffeine can cause extra skin sensitivity. Hair must be grown out about 14 days after your last shave. The longer the hair, the better results! Avoid trimming. You may get a spray tan immediately after your treatment, however you should not spray tanning before sugaring, as it can remove your tan.

What is your cancellation, No show and late policy and why do you require a card on file for booking? Our time is valuable. A valid credit card is required at time of booking to secure the appointment time whether booking online or by phone. Your Credit Card is not charged unless you cancel less than 24 hours or no show your appointment. I do understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies must be honored: 24 hours advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged 50% of the amount of the service booked to the credit card on file. If no credit card is on file or if it has expired or declines payment for any reason, you will be required to pay the fee before we can schedule any future appointments. For all treatments, a no-show is considered as not showing up for the appointment at all, contacting me after the appointment start time, and anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged 100% of the value for their “missed” appointment. If no credit card is on file or declines you will be invoiced through my booking system for the missed appointment and the invoice must be paid before any other appointments will be scheduled in the future.
